The CHSA Museum Celebrates Year of the Ram

Are you excited for the Southwest Chinese New Year Parade of San Francisco and don’t want to wait all day for the fun to begin? Get your Chinese New festivities started early with the Chinese Historical Society of America Museum as they host a special pre-parade, all-day event to welcome the Year of the Ram. Beginning at 12:00 PM with a special dragon dance performance, enjoy a day full of family activities including live music, gallery tours, new exhibits and much more.

The CHSA Museum also brings to you the talented artist Frank Wong to speak about his collection, “Living In Chinatown: Memories in Miniature,” that is on permanent display at the museum. Hear Frank Wong speak about his inspiration for his miniature creations and immerse yourself in the Chinatown culture through his memories depicted in his miniature scene’s from San Francisco’s bustling Chinatown.
