    The Summer of Love Youth Poster Contest

    Let your voice be heard! Marin County youth between the ages of 12 and 18 are invited to participate in the Summer of Love 50th Anniversary Youth Poster Contest.

    Artists have already began sent in their work, and the results have spectacular! Here are a few examples of the works submitted so far:



    Presented by Pacific Sun, this contest allows the participants to design an artistic poster that communicates hope, optimism, concerns, and social vision about the world we live in. Great prizes will be awarded to the winners and their school or organization in both 12-14 and 15-18 age categories.

    "A poster is an excellent opportunity for students to integrate art, words and images," Marin County Office of Education's Eileen M. Smith said. City of Novato mayor adds that the contest and artwork is "a wonderful and empowering message for our youth."      

    The last day for submission is August 16.
