The Traffic Safe Communities Network Launches Unique Youth Video Contest

The Traffic Safe Communities Network (TSCN) is looking for youth to produce unique 30-60 second videos that encourage their peers not to drive under the influence of alcohol, marijuana, or other drugs. Videos can be submited either by an individual, or by a school or youth organization. At the end of the contest, prizes will be awarded for both categories. Individual video submissions enter to win Target gift cards valued at $500, $300, and $200 depending on first, second, or third place, respectively. A school or youth organization first place video will be awarded a Level 1 Disc Jocky service up to 3 hours.

The contest is open to youth between the ages of 13 and 18 living in Santa Clara County

When

Videos can be submitted between February 18 and March 15, 2013

How to Enter

  1. Read and comply with the contest's Official Rules
  2. Produce your video
  3. Upload your video to Youtube
  4. Submit the Entry and Consent forms by the deadline

Individual
1st: $500     2nd: $300     3rd: $200
