As in previous years, the Veteran’s Victory Velo (V3) bicycle ride will be held for serious and recreational cyclists alike to help severely wounded veterans through the Sentinels of Freedom Scholarship Foundation. There will be three different rides to choose from ranging from a 30-mile recreational ride, a 60-mile intermediate ride, or the now famous 100-mile Devil Mountain Century Ride over Mount Diablo.
At the conclusion of the ride early on the afternoon of the 20th, ride participants will be invited to remain in the finishing area, and will be joined by other residents of our area for the second annual Hopfest Celebration benefiting the DVSR Rotary Foundation. This celebration will include a wide variety of food from Food Truck Mafia, music, fun activities, and of course the opportunity to taste craft brews from 20 breweries from Northern California.
