World-famous Singer Celine Dion may be calling her world tour the "Taking Chances" tour, but she's taking no chances when it comes to re-scheduling a concert in San Jose.

The superstar songstress was scheduled to play the HP Pavilion on Sunday, Nov. 23.

AEG Live, Dion's promoter, said Friday that the concert has been rescheduled while the singer recuperates from a recurrent naso-pharyngeal infection.

The promoter said the infection was further complicated by inflamed vocal chords.

Her physician has instructed her to refrain from singing in order to completely recover, the promoter said.

AEG officials said the concert would take place on Friday, Feb. 20, 2009

AEG officials said fans should hold on to their original tickets as they will be honored for the new concert date.

Fans unable to attend the rescheduled concert can obtain a refund at their original point of purchase, AEG officials said.
