Eddie Furlong's Wife: Drop Restraining Order

Furlong's wife cites progress on "issues"

Eddie Furlong’s estranged wife wants another judgment day for the Terminator 2 star.

Rachael Kneeland wants a judge to end a restraining order she had requested for protection from the troubled actor’s alleged threats. The restraining order also bars Furlong from visiting the pair’s 3-year-old son, Ethan.

"We're actually friends. We're not having a bad divorce," Kneeland told People. "We just ran into some issues. Eddie did some things to prove to me that he's back on track with his life and that's all I wanted."

In court documents last month, Furlong’s ex accused him of rampant cocaine and other drug use and of making threats against her life.

"[He] grabbed me, bruised me, pushed me, made threats of more violence, left messages saying he would hire people to come and beat me with chains and bats," court papers claimed, Access Hollywood reported.

Furlong’s lawyer denied the allegations at the time.

On Monday, the actor told the magazine he was “glad all of the drama has subsided.”

"Unfortunately, custody battles can get nastier than I ever imagined,” he said in a statement.

“All allegations have been withdrawn and Rachael and I are continuing to move forward in settling our differences and getting on with our lives The most important thing to me is my son, Ethan, and being the best parent I can.”
