Keith Scott Brown, the father and ex-manager of the all-sibling classical music quintet “The 5 Browns,” has been sentenced to 10 years to life for sexually abusing his three daughters.

The judge who delivered the sentence Thursday called Brown a “pedophile” and a “danger to society,” The Salt Lake Tribune reported.

Brown had pleaded guilty in February to sexually abusing his daughters over an 8-year span. He faced three criminal charges, a first-degree felony for sodomy on a child and two second degree felony charges for sexual abuse on a child.

Although the first charge could have had him face 25 years to life, on Thursday he was sentenced to a minimum of 10 years. He was also sentenced to one to 15 years for the two lesser counts, however, the terms will be served concurrently, Reuters reported.

Brown's daughters -- Desirae, 32, Deondra, 30 and Melody, 26 -- reported the abuse to authorities after hearing their father planned on mentoring other children with aspiring musical careers.

The women all consented to Brown's plea deal, which gave him a lesser sentence than what he might have faced had he gone to trial and been convicted, according to Reuters.

Deputy County Attorney David Sturgill said of the lesser sentence, “This is what the victims wanted… I hope they’re happy it finally came.”

Brown declined to comment, but his lawyer said he seemed remorseful.

The Brown siblings did not appear at court for the sentencing.

The group, which was the first quintet of siblings to study at The Julliard School in New York City, has maintained a nationwide tour throughout the ordeal.  They're next set to perform Friday in Orlando, FL.

A statement posted on The Five Browns website thanked friends and supporters for their concern and prayers during the "trying time."
