Tina Fey, The Muppets, will.i.am and Neil Patrick Harris are just a few of the celebs on deck to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The Muppets, Oprah Winfrey and Donald Sutherland are among the latest batch of celebrities chosen to receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced Thursday.

The heavy-hitters were chosen from among hundreds of nominations reviewed by a chamber committee then approved by the chamber Board of Directors.

"It was not an easy job to winnow down the extra-large number of nominations this year to reach these 30 names, and many deserving names were left for future consideration," said John Pavlik, chairman of the Hollywood Walk of Fame Committee.

The celebrities chosen to receive stars in the motion picture category were Penelope Cruz, Bruce Dern, Laura Dern, Diane Ladd, Ed Harris, The Muppets, Kenny Ortega, Gwyneth Paltrow, Ridley Scott, Sissy Spacek, Donald Sutherland and Reese Witherspoon.

In the television category, the recipients will be Danny DeVito, Tina Fey, Simon Fuller, Neil Patrick Harris, John Langley, Ed O'Neill, John Wells and Oprah Winfrey.

Chosen in the recording category were Melissa Etheridge, Los Tigres Del Norte, Rascal Flatts, Go-Go's, Slash, will.i.am and Bebe & Cece Winans.

Joe Mantegna was chosen in the live performance/theater category.

No dates have been set for the installation ceremonies. Chosen recipients have five years from the date of their selection to schedule the ceremony, according to the chamber.
