Jennifer Aniston Helps Out Tijuana Orphanage

Jennifer Aniston may have looked tan and relaxed on the cover of several tabloids this week, pictures from her recent trip to Cabo San Lucas. But Jen — who turned 41 on Thursday — revealed to Access Hollywood's Billy Bush that her visit wasn't just about celebrating her birthday.

While in Cabo for the interview with Jen, Billy met Leigh Kilton-Smith, Jen's acting coach and close friend of 20 years. The two women have teamed up for charity down South.

"When you drive up to this place you see these kids come running out and you hear a chorus of, 'La, la, la, la," Jen said of the children of Casa Hogar Sion orphanage and school, located in Tijuana, Mexico.

To support and help finance the orphanage, the actress works closely with the charity Friends of El Faro, which was co-founded by Leigh.

"These kids don't feel like they are sitting there going, 'Oh, my life sucks. Look at where I Live!'" Jennifer recounted. "They have been given a lot of love and they're getting educated, which is the most important thing for them."

Jen teamed up with the One & Only Palmilla resort to create the Farita doll. Handmade in Mexico and costing $95, it raises funds for the orphanage, which was founded in 1998 by Mama Carmen and Papa Jorge.

Jen has a long history of helping the safe haven out.

"She's rescued us so many times from letting the kids fall into positions of desperation," Leigh added.

In fact, Jen and Leigh have collaborated before. Leigh is more than an acting coach, just call her the woman behind Jen's big screen successful start.

"I got the movie called, 'The Good Girl' and I was like, 'Um, Leigh, I've got to put my tail between my legs and do it,'" Jen recalled of transitioning from funny TV "Friend" to serious big screen star. "So anyway, the first thing she did was put weights on my hands because she said I talk with my hands too much."

"What 'Anistonian' quality have you instilled?" Billy asked Leigh.

"I taught her this," Leigh said, twirling her hair Aniston style as the three laughed.

"Wow, she's making fun of my hair twirl," Jen said.

"That's the moneymaker right there," Billy added.
