Jorja Fox Returning To 'CSI'

Jorja Fox is returning to the scene of the crime.
Fox will reprise her role as Sara Sidle on several episodes of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," CBS announced on Monday.

"We're thrilled for Jorja's return to 'CSI,'" executive producer Carol Mendelsohn said. "The viewers and longtime 'CSI' fans will be excited to discover where life has taken Sara Sidle and what brings her back to the 'CSI' team in Las Vegas in our premiere episode."
The actress, whose character left the show during its eighth season, will return for multiple episodes when the hit series returns for its tenth season on September 24.

After suffering burnout on the job, Sara decided to leave the "CSI" team to deal with her past demons. She later returned briefly during season nine and then left again to do research in Costa Rica.
Her on-screen boss and love interest Gil Grissom (William Petersen) later left the show to join her in Costa Rica.
No word from CBS is Petersen will make a return appearance this season.
