Kelly Osbourne was rushed to the hospital over the weekend - and we know this because she immediately rushed to Twitter.

The 27-year-old "Fashion Police" host and reality TV star announced via the social network tool that she was treated for a head injury in Miami over the weekend.

"Long story short, I cracked my head open then kept passing out," wrote Osbourne. "I have the all clear my mum came to get me."

Osbourne was in Miami attending a model casting for Madonna's Material Girl clothing line. Osbourne is the face of the brand, which is headed up by Madonna and her daughter, Lourdes.

Her mother Sharon later said on "The Talk" that Kelly had suffered a concussion while dancing at a club, People reported.

"The guy takes down her to dip, and as her dips her down, she hits her head on an amplifier," mama Osbourne said. "It split her head open."

Kelly was rushed to the hospital after fainting twice at her hotel room after the incident, Sharon Osbourne said.

Kelly Osbourne, who is back in Los Angeles, reassured fans that she is doing fine and even took time to thank her caregivers.

"I just want to thank all the incredible doctors and nurses at Mercy hospital in Miami for taking such good care of me," Osbourne Tweeted. "You guys really are amazing!"
