MJ's fans outside the Downtown LA Courthouse react to the guilty verdict of Doctor Conrad Murray. Here's Gordon Tokumatsu

As Jermaine Jackson left court on Monday, he pumped his fist in celebration, echoing the electric sentiment of a growing crowd of Michael Jackson fans, supporters and kooks who had gathered outside the Dr. Conrad Murray trial.

Murray, the King of Pop's personal physician, was found guilty Monday of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Jackson.

As news of the verdict reached the street-level crowd -- heavily comprised of Jackson supporters -- fans jumped up and down in excitement. Screams and shrieks of joy quickly merged into a "justice" chant.

"I've been crying since they said the verdict," said one overwhelmed Jackson supporter. "I've seen so much that he's been through, and I feel that he deserves justice."

The hundreds outside the Criminal Courts Building on Temple Street included some fans dressed as Michael Jackson. One boy performed the Jackson 5 hit "I Want You Back" as media, supporters and spectators gathered round.

One woman buried her face in her hand as she wept. In her other hand was a sign that read "Murray Burn In Hell."

Another woman fainted and was taken away in an ambulance.

Although prominent signs included "Italy Demands Justice 4 MJ" and "Don't Kill Michael Again. Put Murderray In Jail," Murray had some support in the crowd.

"I'm upset. I'm almost wetting my pants," said Murray supporter, Willie Hampton, who believed someone framed Murray.

By 2:15 p.m., half of the crowd had left.

Murray is scheduled for sentencing Nov. 29. He faces a maximum of four years in jail.
