“Sex and the City” star Cynthia Nixon and partner Christine Marinoni are parents to a baby boy, Nixon’s rep told People.
Marinoni, a 43-year-old education activist, gave birth to Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni on Feb. 7, People reported.
"Christine and baby are doing great," Nixon’s rep told the gossip mag.
The couple of six years announced their engagement at a rally in support gay marriage in New York in 2009, according to The Advocate.
Nixon, 44, has two children from a previous 15-year relationship with photographer Danny Mozes, according to the gay-interest magazine. Nixon and Mozes split in 2003.
