Salma Hayek's Husband Fathered Supermodel's Son

When supermodel Linda Evangelista gave birth to a son in October of 2006, she refused to name the boy's biological father.

Well, now a New York court has done it for her.

According to the New York Post, Evangelista turned to a Manhattan Magistrate Court in the hopes of reaching some kind of paternity agreement with 49 year-old French businessman Francois-Henri Pinault, the man rumored to have been the father of Evangelista's 4 year-old son Augustin James even though the model had previously denied it.

The 49 year-old Pinault is currently married to actress Salma Hayek, and the two have a daughter, Valentina (born in 2007).

The court confirmed Pinault's paternity, and Evangelista claims her son was conceived during a period when Pinault and Hayek were not together. Hayek and Pinault had broken up several times before reconciling in 2008 and marrying in early 2009.

Reports claim that no deal was reached (Pinault was not present) and that the potential for a support trial looks likely.

Pinault is CEO of a conglomerate that owns high-profile fashion brands Gucci, Bottega Veneta, and Yves St. Laurent. It is believed to be worth $28 billion.
