"American Idol" could have waited for "Saturday Night Live" or some other comedy show to do a spoof of it -- but instead it decided to spoof itself during Wednesday night's finale.

Kara DioGuardi had a point to prove to "Bikini Girl" Katrina Darrell. The judge showed us her chops and a little extra… ripping open her dress to show off her own skimpy black bikini. B.G. brought something to extra back to American Idol as well... "American Idol" could have waited for "Saturday Night Live" or some other comedy show to do a spoof of it -- but instead it decided to spoof itself during Wednesday night's finale. The show did its Golden Idol awards. Among the winners was "Bikini Girl," Katrina Darrell, who put in another, ahem, appearance. This time she was joined on stage by Idol judge Kara DioGuardi. DioGuardi sang a duet with "Bikini Girl" on "Vision of Love." Then DioGuardi showed us her chops and a little extra… ripping open her dress to show off her own skimpy black bikini. She then immediately covered up and acted embarrassed. Though DioGuardi looked embarrassed to be seen in her bikini, host Ryan Seacrest complimented her on her abs. During auditions, Dioguardi had given "Bikini Girl" a hard time and showed her how a song should be sung. No hard feelings... Outshined? The face-off wasn’t the only talking point of the performance, "Bikini Girl" made a “couple” of changes since we saw her last. We'll show you this months-old picture from the auditions again, see anything different? Two things? Seacrest said people at "Idol" are now going to donate a lot of money to DioGuardi's favorite charity because they bet that she wouldn't show the bikini. All's well that ends well.
