Amy Schumer Apologizes After Fans Complain About Short Show in Maine

Many fans said they'll never go back to the venue

Comedian Amy Schumer issued an apology on Twitter after fans complained that they felt short-changed by a short show on Saturday night in Portland, Maine.

According to WCSH-TV, Schumer performed two shows at the Cross Insurance Arena on Saturday - one at 7:30 and one at 10:30 p.m. Fans attending the first show complained on social media that it was less than an hour long.

Schumer said she felt bad about the length of the show as well, but she had to end it early so the audience for the second show could move in.

Many people commented about the show on the arena's Facebook page, demanding refunds and saying they won't be going back.

"Very disappointed that we went through the effort of pre-sale for the original show, only to be ripped off because a second show was later added and they got the longer set," said Jason King. "Amy Schumer was great, but someone dropped the ball due to greed."

"We will be driving to Bangor or Boston for all of our shows from now on!" added Melissa Rodney.
