New “Ant-Man” Trailer Reveals Yellowjacket

So that's what Yellowjacket looks like.

After debuting a 30-second teaser during Sunday's MTV Movie Awards, Marvel Studios released the second full-length trailer for "Ant-Man" Monday. The footage gave movie buffs their first look at Corey Stoll in action as the evil Darren Cross, a.k.a. Yellowjacket. Paul Rudd, meanwhile, plays jailbird-turned-superhero Scott Lang, who has the power to shrink himself and control his six-legged insect namesakes, thanks to a special suit designed by inventor Hank Pym (Michael Douglas).

"Hank Pym's Ant-Man suit doesn't have a single weapon, whereas Yellowjacket is armed with plasma cannons" director Peyton Reed says in Entertainment Weekly's Apr. 17/24 issue, on newsstands now.

That doesn't mean the titular hero can be easily defeated, however. "Ant-Man is very fast when he's small," Reed explains. "Also, when he shrinks, he increases his density, so he's got increased strength."

How did it feel to join the Marvel Universe?

"It was a new experience as far as the motion-capture-suitness of it," Rudd, 46, tells the magazine. "But none of it feels that different. Every part, I'm pretending to be somebody I'm not. It's all just a big lie!"

The movie, which also stars Evangeline Lilly, is in theaters July 17.
