Pharrell Gets a New Hat, Shares Message That #BlackLivesMatter During Grammys

Who's ready to get "Happy?"

Pharrell Williams took to the 2015 Grammys stage Sunday night to perform one of the biggest songs of the past year. And just when we thought we heard enough of the addictive track, "The Voice" coach completely switched things up in the fashion and musical arrangement department.

Wearing custom-made Adidas shoes, his signature shorts and a brand new hat, the 41-year-old brought a new vibe to the song with a little help from pianist Lang Lang and composer Hans Zimmer.

While singing those catchy lyrics to a full house, Williams also subtly made a statement to the world that #BlackLivesMatter. Need proof? Just ask Twitter!

A group of backup dancers stood behind the hit-maker wearing head-to-toe black. They also kept their hoods up in support of "Hands Up, Don't Shoot."

It was a big night for the singer who walked away with three awards including Best Video of the Year.

Before heading backstage, Williams thanked God for making all of his dreams a reality.

"At your service..." he tweeted after thanking him onstage.
