Sandra Bullock Tops Forbes' Highest Paid Actresses List

Sandra Bullock is queen of the box office.

The 50-year-old "Gravity" star easily tops Forbes' Highest Earning Actress in Hollywood list with $51 million. The magazine interviewed agents, producers, lawyers and other industry insiders to determine how much each celebrity earned from entertainment-related work between June 2013 and June 2014.

Bullock and Melissa McCarthy co-starred in last summer's hit comedy "The Heat," and Bullock earned an Academy Award nomination for her role in "Gravity." She lost Best Actress, but the film won seven Oscars.

Jennifer Lawrence, meanwhile, earned $34 million. The 23-year-old actress' performance in David O. Russell's "American Hustle" earned raves, and she reprised her roles as Katniss Everdeen and Mystique in "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" and "X-Men: Days of Future Past," respectively. The second installment in "The Hunger Games" franchise earned more than $424 million domestically on a reported $140 million budget, while the "X-Men" sequel made $231.7 million domestically on a reported $200 million budget.

Jennifer Aniston finished in third place with $31 million, thanks to the surprise success of "We're the Millers" and endorsement deals with Aveeno and Vitamin Water. In addition to receiving royalties from "Friends" reruns, the 45-year-old actress also co-owns the Living Proof hair care line with Chris McMillan.
