Francesca Eastwood is headed to the Golden Globes!
The star of E!'s "Mrs. Eastwood & Company" has been named Miss Golden Globe 2013 by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which means she'll be handing out statues during the big show on January 13.
"I'm very excited and honored to be part of Hollywood history and to follow in the footsteps of so many amazing [girls]," Eastwood exclusively tells us. "Everybody keeps asking me if I'm nervous--and now I feel like I should be! Maybe for falling over on stage I'm nervous about!"
In what has become an annual tradition, the HFPA crowns the daughter of a famous actor (or two) as Miss Golden Globe. Francesca's parents, of course, are none other than Clint Eastwood--a multi-Golden Globe winner himself--and actress Frances Fisher.
"I'm very proud and happy for her," says Fisher.
Recent Miss Golden Globes have included Rumer Willis, Lorraine Nicholson (Jack's daughter!) and, last year, Andie MacDowell's lovely eldest girl, Rainey Qualley.
Amy Poehler and Tina Fey will host the 70th Annual Golden Globes, airing live on NBC on Jan. 13. (E! Online is a member of the NBCUniversal family.)
