Olivia Wilde Dishes on How Awesome “Tron” Bodysuit Is

While battling bad guys in box-office hit "Tron: Legacy" seems effortless for Olivia Wilde, getting in and out of her skin-tight costume was quite the opposite.

"It took a group effort. I had about three costume experts helping me to get in and out…they'd be yanking and pulling and strapping," the actress told co-star Jeff Bridges in an interview for Moviefone. "It wasn't just the suit. We had wires that went through the suit and the battery pack on the back."

Although it took hours to get into the latex costume her video-game character wears, Wilde told Bridges (who guest starred in SNL this weekend) she felt pretty awesome when it finally was on.

"I remember every morning after I was dressed, walking out in the suit after how many hours it took, and turning on the lights and feeling, 'alright. Cool. I'm there!'" said the actress, who also stars on "House" on the small screen.

Looking good in a skin-tight body takes a fair share of effort, too. In order to prepare for the role, Wilde put on the sweats and hit the gym almost every day.

"I worked with a personal trainer, so I did about an hour of cardio five or six days a week," she told Women's Fitness magazine (via Huffington Post), which she covers this month. "Weight training three times a week, mixed martial arts/fighting three times a week, and that's a lot more than my normal [routine]!"

Although the svelte actress seems naturally fit, she also told Reuters it was the most fit she had ever been in her life: "I was ripped! Never been that way before; never will be again!"

"Legacy" picks up from the story line from the 1982 movie Tron, but this time around Garrett Hedlund's character gets transported into a video-game universe. Jeff Bridges, who plays his father, reprises his old role from the first movie.

The Disney sequel to the virtual reality sci-fi flick had a successful debut, according to AP, topping "Yogi Bear" and "The Chronicles of Narnia" at $43.6 million during its opening weekend.

If Wilde isn't already every geeky boy's crush, she will be soon. The movie star is starring opposite Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig in another sci-fi flick coming out next summer, "Cowboys & Aliens."
