“Twilight” Vampires Return to Stir Teenage Angst

The "Twilight" vampires are returning to the San Francisco scene where they caused a near-riot. Screaming teenage girls broke noses and caused chaois to be a part of the vampire madness when the first movie was released.

But this time the paparazzi show comes to town without one major component: tabloid heartthrob Robert Pattinson.

The star of the movie is not scheduled to join his cast mates at Stonestown Galleria to promote “The Twilight Saga: New Moon.”

The actor who plays the dreamy, but pale, Edward Cullen in the vampire movies set off an explosion of post-pubesic teenage angst when he appeared at the mall to promote the first movie.

Monday night, Pattinson's on screen siblings will appear at the mall. Actors Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene will appear at two events at Stonestown, including a question-and-answer session in the parking lot starting at 7:30 p.m.
