Britney Spears Drops New Single

The song "3" is off the pop star's "The Singles Collection"

Britney Spears is dropping new music and she's hoping "3" is a charm with fans.

The pop star's new single debuted on the Elvis Duran & The Morning Show on New York's Z100 Tuesday morning. Brit recorded "3" with longtime producer Max Martin ("…Baby One More Time," "If U Seek Amy").

"3" is off the pop star's "The Singles Collection," which will be released on November 24, celebrating the 10th anniversary of her recording debut.

The 17-track set will come in two editions – a standard version and the massive Ultimate Fan Box Set, which includes each of the star's 29 singles in its own slip sleeve case plus a DVD collection of her music videos.

On Sunday, the pop star ended the North American leg of "The Circus Starring Britney Spears" tour in Las Vegas. She is set to continue the show down under, when she takes "Circus" to Australia in November.
