Following the success of "Glee's" "Power of Madonna" episode, series creator Ryan Murphy says he's hoping to do more themed episodes, including music industry powerhouses like Britney Spears and Courtney Love.
According to EW, Ryan is eyeing themed episodes surrounding the music of the pop princess and the rocker mom – along with piano man Billy Joel and rock gods Led Zeppelin.
"I'm interested in the Britney Spears idea. I've always loved her. I'm entertaining it. I think young kids would like that," he told the mag.
His comments come on the heels of a Twitter campaign launched last week by Britney's manager, Adam Leber, who posted a message offering up the pop princess' music for the hit FOX show.
"Do you guys want to see a Britney Spears episode of GLEE?" Adam Tweeted last week, following that by launching the Twitter trending topic #BritneySpearsGLEE.
As far as Courtney Love, Ryan said the Hole frontwoman is looking to go "Glee."
"I actually ran into Courtney Love the other day and talked to her," he said. "She's interested. I would love to have the kids do a Courtney Love episode one day…The key is the songs in the catalogue have to have a certain degree of theatricality."
He also revealed that Madge was very pleased with her episode.
"She said how much she loved the episode," Ryan said. "She thought it was brilliant and she's so pleased. Her daughter got to watch it with her and loved it. [Madonna's] a smart cookie. I mean that introduced her music to an entire new generation."
