No J-Lo: “I'm Single,” Anthony Tells Fans

Friends of the couple say they often argued

Marc Anthony wasted little time relishing the single life after announcing his split with Jenifer Lopez, flirting with the crowd at a concert in Colombia.

“They’re saying I’m single,” Anthony cooed to the delighted crowd in a Bogota park Saturday night, according to People magazine. Anthony blew kisses to women in the crowd and singled one out as "Mamacita," or "hot mama," then adding, "You are so beautiful."

The A-list couple announced Friday that they are calling it quits after seven years of marriage. The 42-year-old singer of such hits as “I Need to Know” and "You Sang to Me" never mentioned his superstar soon-to-be ex-wife by name as he charmed his audience.

Meanwhile, J. Lo, 41, is preparing to leave the country early next week, E! News reported on Saturday. The singer and "American Idol" judge will perform at a wedding in the Ukraine on July 19, her rep confirmed to E!

The show will go on for production of the couple's upcoming reality show, too, Deadline Hollywood reports. Lopez and Anthony's Simon Fuller-backed talent show, "¡Q’viva! The Chosen," is still a go, according to the site.

"They’re both committed to ¡Q’viva! and will work on it as planned," a spokesman for XIX Entertainment said.

The show will film the couple searching for undiscovered talent in 21 countries across Latin America, and it's set to film later this year. It doesn't have a distribution deal yet but the ever-camera-ready couple may be even more interesting to watch now.

In their joint announcement, Lopez and Anthony did not spell out why they they were breaking up, though friends of the couple anonymously told People and Us the A-listers fought in heated arguments for months.

The parents of 3-year-old twins Emme and Max said they had come to an "amicable conclusion on all matters" and appealed for privacy.

"It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time,” they said.

People reported that signs of trouble between Lopez and Anthony emerged at their last joint appearance, the Samsung Hope for Children Gala in New York on June 7. Lopez's thousand-watt smile was notably absent from photos taken at the event, according to People.

Afterward, Lopez, her mother and the twins traveled to France and Spain for the singer's appearance on a French reality show.
