Whether he's igniting stampedes of screaming girls or being stalked by the paparazzi while out with Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber said it's not so easy to take it all in.

In a cover article for Vanity Fair's February issue, the teen sensation admits his chaotic rock star life occasionally gives him insomnia.

"I just turn over all night and think. My mind races," the 16-year-old "Baby" singer told Vanity Fair. "I think about all the things I didn't have to think about during the day--like family and God and things that should be more important but you don't have time to think about, because you just get caught up [in everything else] during the day."

The Vanity Fair cover will most likely help the Canadian superstar reach an audience wider than readers of Tiger Beat and Teen Vogue, the magazines that his face is usually platered on. While he said he greatly appreciates his female fans, he hopes to have more male fans one day when he's older.

"For younger guys, it's like [they think] they're not cool if they come to my concert. That'll [change], I think it'll happen, maybe when I'm 18. But meanwhile all their girlfriends are coming to watch me."

Bieber knows the ladies scream for him because he's famous. But the golden-haired tween crush said he thinks he'd get the attention, pop star or not.

"Not trying to be arrogant, but if I walked down the street and a girl saw me, she might take a look back because maybe I'm good-looking, right?," Bieber said.

If a statement like that is a beginning warning sign for an egomaniac, Bieber's mother promised that she's not going to let that happen.

"We don't have yes-men around him," said mom Pattie Mallette. "I don't want him being a diva."
