Bravo Plans “Housewives” Suicide Special

In the days following the suicide death of Russell Armstrong - the estranged husband of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Taylor Armstrong - Bravo announced that it would not be canceling the upcoming season, but would instead re-edit the series to, presumably, downplay Armstrong's presence.

Now, the network has announced that it is prepping a special episode to address Armstrong's death directly.

According to a Los Angeles Times report, "Housewives" Lisa Vanderpump, Camille Grammer, Kim and Kyle Richards, and Adrienne Maloof taped the special this past Monday. So far there is no word on when the special will air.

Taylor Armstrong did not participate in the special shoot.

Bravo has confirmed that "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" will return September 5th as planned.
