The Situation Talks “Jersey Shore” Exit

Now this could be a real situation for MTV.

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino reportedly plans to bail on the rest of his “Jersey Shore” crew and take his ab-based talents to Hollywood.

"Hopefully by the end of the year I'll be in a movie," Sorrentino told E! News. "There's only so long you can rule the reality world."

Sorrentino, who was estimated to have fist-pumped a $5 million fortune in 2010 through “Shore” commitments, product endorsements and paid appearances, told E! he planned to exit the show that has made him a household name in “maybe another year or so.”

"It's like Michael Jordan,” he said, referring to the iconic basketball star. “There's only so long you can keep winning them rings."

With the current season of “Jersey Shore” breaking records for MTV, the series plans to step up season four by ferrying its cast of young Italian-American partiers to their ancestral homeland.

After that it’s looking like Situation out, he said.

"You gotta move on and try something different," he told E! "I love to be in front of the camera; I love performing; I love entertaining so movies is definitely the next step."

Situation skeptics might be advised dude did rock that Funny or Die skit.
