Actress and icon Farrah Fawcett died June 25, but the show she made famous, "Charlie's Angels," may live again.

Reboots of "Knight Rider," "Melrose Place" and "The Bionic Woman" have all stumbled, but ABC is hoping a reboot of "Charlie's Angels" will take off.

According to Variety, the network is close to ordering a pilot based on the iconic 70's TV series.

Josh Friedman, who brought the "Terminator" franchise to the small screen in the form of "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles," is reportedly attached to write and executive produce the reboot.

Original "Charlie' s Angels" producer Leonard Goldberg, who helped start the original series in 1976 with Aaron Spelling, and Drew Barrymore, who starred in and produced the 2000 big screen adaptation (and its not-so-successful 2003 sequel), are both also reportedly attached to the project.

Spelling attempted to launch a reboot of his series in 1988 on FOX called "Angels 88," which never got off the ground.

According to the mag, the new "Angels" will reportedly "be geared toward a new generation while paying homage to the past."
