Sunday could be the greatest day ever.

It's Bacon and Beer Day.

A slew of breweries and many providers of the popular strips of cured meat known as bacon will gather on Aug. 25 at the Fairmont Hotel, according to SFStation.

Chefs and butchers from 25 Bay Area restaurants will pair their offers, from pork belly ramen to simpler salted and cured meat fare, with beers from Speakeasy, Lagunitas and over 20 others.

Tickets are $50 to $65 -- that is, if they're still available. Passes to events in Boston sold out in three minutes, according to SFStation.

Favorites such as the Girl & the Fig and Bacon Bacon will be grilling, frying and otherwise cooking up pig parts from Zoe's Meats, SFStation said.
