San Francisco got a little piece of Hollywood Monday when Dwayne "The Rock' Johnson showed up at AT&T Park to film an earthquake scene for his latest film "San Andreas."

The entrance to the ballpark turned into a disaster movie set, complete with film crews, filming equipment, debris and a white convertible filled with fake bricks as the shoot progressed through the morning.

Johnson is expected to make an appearance outside the ballpark at some point Monday.

"San Andreas" tells the story of a helicopter pilot, played by Johnson, who searches for his daughter after the "Big One" hits California. The film is scheduled for release June 5, 2015.

"It's a sensitive topic for some neighborhoods, but overall it's good for the city - it's good for tourism, it's good for international recognition," said San Francisco resident Paul Rossman.

"I'm a huge fan of "The Rock" -- I have pictures of him even at work," said Vicky Guzman, who is visiting from Alberta, Canada. "He's a great actor, and has a good body. He's cute."

Some streets near the park will be closed from noon to midnight because of the shooting, including Third Street between Channel and King streets and Berry street between Third and Fourth streets.

Some of Johnson's fans who were in the neighborhood tweeted out pictures of the set.

AT&T Park isn't the only place in San Francisco that gets hit by the fake earthquake. Extras could be seen running from a fake disaster scene at Fisherman's Wharf last week.

Johnson, who was born in Hayward, California, tweeted out a picture of himself after landing in San Francisco July 19, saying: "Just touched down - San Francisco. Struttin' & cuttin' right to the gym. #NoFannyPacks #PlaceOfBirth #HaywardStrong."
