San Jose Documentary Tells History of Silicon Valley

For the first time, San Jose has its very own feature-length documentary.

"Changing Boundaries: The History of San Jose" is opening Jan. 22 at the California Theatre, according to Silicon Valley Community Newspapers.

And how San Jose has changed.

Apricot orchards made way for Silicon Valley over a period of time. Exactly how Ohlone Indian tribes were replaced by Google and Apple at "the dawn of the 21st century" is expounded upon by "20-plus" interviews, according to filmmakers.

Director/producer Tricia Creason-Valencia's film is narrated by actor Daniel Wilson, a local favorite who replaced actor Peter Coyote, who pulled out due to illness.

Tickets are $25 for the first screening. Click here for info.
