A's Getting Support From Giants Fans?

Potential of a Bay-Bridge Series entices some

Die-hard baseball fans in the Bay Area may be in for an expensive season.

Some San Francisco Giants fans made their way to the Oakland A's home opener Monday.

Daniel Anderson from Berkeley paid $50 for a standing-room-only ticket because the A's are good.

He says the team could go all the way, "They have potential, they are young and they know they can win. They are not going to be shy about it."

Anderson was wearing a green shirt to fit in at the game, but it was not an A's shirt.

He admits he is actually a Giants fan, rooting for the A's so he can route against them in a Bay Bridge World Series.

Andersons says, "I really want the Battle of the Bay to happen this year."

In the meantime he'll be catching the action on both sides of the bay just as long as he can afford it.
