A San Jose teenager died after he was shot late Wednesday night, making him the city's 15th homicide victim this year.

Police found the 18-year-old with a gunshot wound on Walnut Woods Drive, near McLaughlin Avenue and Story Road, at 8:20 p.m. Officers also found a second man who had been assaulted, but not shot.

Both victims were taken to the hospital. The gunshot victim suffered life-threatening injuries, and died about 3 a.m. Thursday at the hospital. The second victim is expected to recover.

Police don't know of a motive for the shooting, and say at this point, they don't have any suspects.
