6 People Injured After 2 Crashes in S.F.

One of the crashes on Sunday afternoon involved a Muni train.

It was a dangerous day for drivers along the Embarcadero in San Francisco on Sunday.

Six people ended up in the hospital after two separate accidents, just blocks away and within a few minutes of each other. Both crashes happened around 4:30 p.m.

In the first incident, a Muni train struck a car that reportedly made an illegal left turn near Harrison Street.

The driver of the car was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

A couple blocks away, police say another driver lost control and crashed into three cars near Brannan Street, not far from AT&T Park.

The driver and four other people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The accidents are not believed to be related.
