California's long Dunkin' drought is at last over.
And Northern California is included in the sprinkling of Dunkin' Donuts coming to the Golden State.
Modesto will get a location of the beloved donuts-and-coffee chain, according to the Modesto Bee.
Initially, Dunkin' Donuts' return to California -- following its exit in 2002 -- was to be limited to Southern California, with locations in L.A. and Long Beach.
Exactly where in Modesto the chain plans to open was not specified, but its fans are likely to beat a path to its door regardless.
There will be as many as 1,000 Dunkin' locations in California before the chain is through, CNBC reported.
