With Bay Area unemployment in the double digits this could be welcome news.
McDonald's is having a one-day job event across the region today. The jobs range from part-time to manager.
Each location is locally owned and operated so it's best to check and see if the location where you want to workt is participating in today's event.
Up to 1,000 jobs could be filled during the speedy job fair. For some part-time workers, perks could include benefits and health insurance.
In this economy competition may be tough. Unemployment numbers show that the South Bay is at 11.4 percent while the East and North Bay are at 10.5. If you are unable to stop by and check out a location today you can also apply online.
