New Record Label to go Boom Boom in SF

The struggling economy is not scaring one Bay Area entrepreneur.

A new record label will take flight Thursday with music, food and a whole lot more.

The Boom Boom Room in San Francisco's Fillmore District will host a launch party for MYX Music Label.

The party will feature the premiere of the new music video music video "The Times" by Keelay and Zaire

The party will also feature performances by Joyo Velarde, Keelay and Zaire with The Park and Special Guests, Jern Eye and live DJ Sets from DJ Mere of the Oakland Faders.

There will also be one very special guest, when Chali 2Na from Jurassic 5 takes the stage.

The party takes flight at 8 p.m. at 1601 Fillmore at Geary Avenue in San Francisco.
