San Jose Hospital's Future Shines Bright in Solar Power

Santa Clara Valley Medical Center Installs 2000 Solar Panels

A south bay hospital is looking to the sky for some big time savings.

Santa Clara Valley Medical Center just started installing brand new solar panels on top of its parking garage in attempts to power its entire campus.

Not only is it good for the environment, the hospital says the 2000 solar panels being installed will save them $130,000 a year.

It will also bring over a million kilowatts of power to their campus.

The project is expected to be complete in april.
