Ex-CHP Dispatcher Arrested in Meth, Weapons Case

A former California Highway Patrol dispatcher and her husband are facing various charges after authorities say they orchestrated deals for drugs and weapons in Yolo County.

The Sacramento Bee reports Thursday that 35-year-old Sarah Marie Killough and her 44-year-old husband Dennis Killough were arrested last month and are being held without bail. They are scheduled to be in Yolo Superior Court in Woodland on Jan. 14.

Prosecutors say the couple sold an assault rifle to an undercover federal agent last summer. They also are accused of selling more than a kilogram of methamphetamine.

Authorities say Dennis Killough is a suspected member of the Hells Angels motorcycle gang and they served a search warrant at the club's Vallejo headquarters.

Sarah Killough had worked for the CHP since 2009 and was dismissed on Dec. 10.
