The FBI says the man they call the "Hefty Heister" has robbed eight banks throughout Northern California since the beginning of December.
Many of the robberies were in the Sacramento area, but police say he hit a bank just last week inside a Safeway in Brentwood.
He also hit one in Pleasant Hill.
Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to contact police.
