    Kabang, a famed dog that lost her snout and upper jaw saving two girls' lives in the Philippines, returned home to a hero's welcome after months of treatment at the University of California, Davis.

    The mixed-breed dog on Monday was reunited with her owner, and the girls she saved by jumping in front of oncoming motorcycle in December 2011.

    The operations and treatments were paid for with donations from around the world.

    Kabang also was honored with her very own motorcade and an award from the mayor.
