Lake Tahoe's Homewood Mountain Resort Closed After Two-Alarm Fire Guts Ski Lodge

Homewood Mountain Resort in Lake Tahoe is closed Wednesday after a two-alarm fire ripped through the ski spot's south lodge.

Firefighters spent a few hours battling the blaze, which ignited around 3 a.m., according to officials representing the North Tahoe and Meeks Bay Fire Protection Districts.

No injuries were reported, but officials announced that all operations at the resort would be shut down for the day while crews investigated the blaze.
