Group of 6 Remaining Anonymous After Winning $2.3 Million Lottery

Dreams came true for a group of six in Riverside County after they hit it big - really big - purchasing a winning ticket for a $2.3 million jackpot.

The group, being cautious above all else, is remaining anonymous after scoring the huge windfall.

The lucky six get to split $2,333,142.

The Mega Millions ticket was purchased at PostalAnnex at 31938 Temecula Parkway for the July 5 drawing.

The store owner said he sold another monster winner in the past.

"We had a $117,000 Fantasy 5 winner back in 2013," owner Tom Coronel said.

The store will also get a $11,665 bonus for selling the winning ticket, according to the California Lottery.
