18-Year-Old Woman Killed by Drunken Driver in Solano County ID'd

An 18-year old woman is dead and a Suisun City man has been arrested following a grisly crash Saturday night in Fairfield.

California Highway Patrol reported the crash at around 8 p.m. on eastbound I-80, at the Cordelia Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility. A preliminary investigation revealed that Marc Crawley, age 46 of Suisun City, was driving his 1968 Ford Mustang when he lost control of the car and rammed it into a car broken down on the right shoulder.

The impact of the initial crash sent the disabled car flying into two people standing nearby, police said. Police identified the victims Sunday as Breanna McKneely, 18, of San Pablo and Dujuan Pines, 34, of Fairfield.

Medical personnel rushed McKneely, Dujuan and Crawley to North Bay Medical Center. From there, McKneely was airlifted to UC Davis Medical Center, where she died.

Police arrested Crawley for gross vehicular manslaughter.

All lanes of traffic were halted for several hours while medical personnel responded to the scene. It reopened shortly after 10 p.m.
