Surveillance Video Captures 6.0 Magnitude South Napa Earthquake

Surveillance video captured the moments a 6.0-magnitude earthquake rocked the Napa area early Sunday.

Inside of the Whole Foods at Bel Aire Plaza in Napa, some parts of the store had a sea of items on the floor.

Stores around Bel Aire Plaza were some of the hardest hit by the earthquake.

Many were unable to open all day, including a Pet Food Express. Surveillance video from inside the store showed items immediately getting thrown off the shelf, the lights flickering on and off, and signs swinging back and forth.

The stores were closed at the time, so no one was injured, but the earthquake caused extensive damage. In spite of its own damage, Pet Food Express said it planned to help in the recovery.

It is collecting donations at all of its stores for the Napa County Animal Shelter. It will match the first $10,000 in donations.

The quake shook things off the shelves at a 7-Eleven store in American Canyon as well.

Bottles of wine at the end of an aisle toppled, spilling red across the floor, and the shaking stretched for a good 15 to 20 seconds.
