A brush fire that started in the Lake Berryessa area of Napa County has burned 6,900 acres and is about 65 percent contained, according to information released by Cal Fire this morning, and firefighters expect to reach full containment by Tuesday.
The Wragg fire has burned in areas of Napa and Solano counties. It started Wednesday at 2:24 p.m. at 7700 state Highway 128 near Wragg Canyon Road.
The fire was initially thought to have been started by a vehicle crash, but the official cause is still under investigation, officials said.
All evacuation orders due to the fire have been lifted, and there are no current road closures. The Lake Solano campground is currently closed for fire equipment, officials noted.
The fire has destroyed one outbuilding and tent trailer, and one other structure has been damaged, according to Cal Fire.
As of Sunday morning, 1,729 fire personnel, 133 fire engines, 43 fire crews, 13 helicopters, 24 bulldozers, and 13 water tenders have been dispatched to the fire, Cal Fire officials said.
