Boxer highlighted her approach to climate change and the environment. She spoke the Democrats' line that says state legislation cutting greenhouse gas levels could help make California become a leader in green jobs.
Boxer's opponent, Republican Carly Fiorina, says the bill would eliminate jobs even as the state attempts to recover from the recession. Fiorina also says states can't act alone to stanch climate change.
