Used cooking oil has become a valuabe resource in San Francisco.
The city announced a new program that allows people can recycle leftover Thanksgiving cooking grease free of charge.
There will be drop-off sites at the Costco warehouse on 10th Street or any San Francisco Whole Foods on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The city will use the grease to make bio-diesel fuel and says the program also keeps the grease from clogging city sewers.
