Students at the Urban School of San Francisco created a wiki called GreeningSanFrancisco, a collection of projects analyzing how the city is dealing with certain environmental issues.

More than a dozen juniors and seniors created the wiki as part of a six-week class on San Francisco's environmental policies. The areas of study include environmental justice, waste reduction, climate change, reducing toxins, alternative fuels, and water use.

The students worked in three-person teams to collect background information on the topic and analyze the effectiveness of the city's actions with regards to one of the issues.
